Begin by separating people, objects, places and actions. Mlada and mladoženja are the bride and groom; kum or kuma may serve as a witness; burme are wedding rings; sveštenik is the priest. Let the recording determine which details apply in its specific explanation.
Pay attention to modal strength. Treba da often presents advice or a practical requirement, while morati expresses stronger necessity. After pre nego što, Serbian normally uses a present-tense form even when English points towards the future: pre nego što se venčaju.
