Private decisions behind public interviews
This part asks why people stayed, married or concealed news from family. Answers need causes, not only names: use zato što, jer or zbog followed by the appropriate construction.
The interviewees also explain how they learned Serbian quickly. Collect methods as verbs—slušali su, razgovarali su, vežbali su—rather than reducing the answer to “practice.”

Retell one biography without borrowing the other
Choose one interviewee and make a four-verb timeline. Retell it in past tense, adding a reason after the most important decision.
