10, 20, 30 ... 100

10 - deset 20 - dvadeset 30 - trideset 40 - četrdeset 50 - pedeset 60 - šezdeset 70 - sedamdeset 80 - osamdeset 90 - devedeset 100 - sto

****************

21 - dvadeset (i) jedan

**************** As you see the rule is very simple, just add 20 + 1. As for writing, the two numbers are written separately, either with 'and' or without it in between, while for administrative purposes, ie. in documents, the numbers are written together eg. 'dvadesetjedan'.

**************** Practise saying the numbers below, and then listen to the answers in the GCast Widget on the right, under the Post named 'Tens-exercise'.

Cao Marina!:)
I absolutely adore your blog! I'm just a beginner in Serbian but I'm really determinated to learn it (I just love it) and I find your website very useful and helpful! Thanks for all the job you do to promote your language and help us, non-native in Serbian to pick it up! You're absolutely gorgeous!
Thanks for everything once again!

Dear Avi,
Thank you for your endorsement! Your comment made me so happy! I am glad to hear that these short explanations can help. What do you think of the audio files on GCast ? Is it clear which audio file goes with which post? I have always imagined this internet as an interactive tool, so I would appreciate any comments or suggestions! Hvala!

Cao Marina,
I absolutely admire what you do for me and all the people trying to learn Serbian!:) You're amazing!:)
And don't worry, the quality of audio files is excellent!:)

Hope someday (means no more than 1 year) I'll be able to talk to you in Serbian... somehow.... even if not so well. I just started to learn Serbian intensively means everyday around an hour (at least half an hour if I can't more or of course more if I can) and hope it'll gives some results!:) Although I'm such an impatient person... hope my determination will win with my impatience and discouragement. Your blog helps me a lot too...especially when I see how many things you do... just to help us. It motivates me even more!:)

Oh and one more thing!:) You offered me to create a joint blog for French and German!:) I think it's a brillant idea!:) We could share our experiences and support each other!:) It would be amazing!:) Just let me know if you are still interested in!:)

Pozdrav,
Avi
